In a way, you could consider the media to be an interest group,

interest groups try to defend a cause. they work toward a cause mainly by convincing people that they are right and lobbying politions and spreading propaganda. the proaganda can be slanted to support a certain viewpoint

media is just any way to spread information. it can be also slanted to support a certain viewpoint

interest groups can use media to spread propagana. however, media can also be used to spread 'anti-propaganda' that is contrary to their cause
they compete to convice people that their truth is more true than the other truth

What emipre- famed for its art, culture, and science- was founded in the 1500s in Persia?
Sophie [7]

The Persian Empire is the name given to a series of dynasties centered in modern-day Iran that spanned several centuries—from the sixth century B.C. to the twentieth century A.D. The first Persian Empire, founded by Cyrus the Great around 550 B.C., became one of the largest empires in history, stretching from Europe’s Balkan Peninsula in the West to India’s Indus Valley in the East. This Iron Age dynasty, sometimes called the Achaemenid Empire, was a global hub of culture, religion, science, art and technology for more than 200 years before it fell to the invading armies of Alexander the Great.
