The question is asking to find and calculate the said towers base on the given in the question. In my own calculation, I would say that the answers are the following.A. the distance from tower 2 to the plane to the nearest foot is 15052.1 ftB. the height of the plane from the ground, to the nearest foot is 6122 ft.

Answer:

If CD=h and BC=x, then

h/x = tan24°

h/(x+7600) = tan16°

or,

h = 0.4452x

h = 0.2867x + 2179.2649

0.4452x = 0.2867x + 2179.2649

BC = x = 13750

CD = h = 6121

Answer:

The measure of angle T is 135 degrees.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let's just say the measure of angles T and S are variables t and s.

So the equation would be...

t + s = 180

Since they are supplementary angles, they add up to 180.

Also, we know that t is 3 times s.

t = 3s

Now we can solve this system of equations.

Substitute 3s into t of the first equation.

3s + s = 180

4s = 180

s = 45

Then, since we know that the measure of angle t is 3 times the measure of angle s, we can just multiply 45 by 3 and find the measure of angle t.

45 * 3 = 135

t = 135

So the measure of angle t is 135.

What is the value of b so that the equation x^2+bx+5=0 will have x intercepts (-5,0) and (-1,0)
storchak [24]
Plug one intercepts: (-1)^2+(-1)b+5=0
(-5)^2+(-5)b+5=0
simplify: 6-b=0
30-5b=0
solve for b: 6=b
30/5=b
