Assuming that 3.5% is the increase in pay each week, she will get paid $248.40 each week.

You would find this in this manner :   $240 * 3.5%

change the percent to a decimal 0.035 then multiply $240 by 0.035 that give you $8.40

add $8.40 to $240 =  $248.40
