3 ft * 20 bags = 60 ft...so 20 bags covers 60 ft

1 yd = 3 ft.....so 15 yds = 15 * 3 = 45ft

60 ft - 45 ft = 15 ft of mulch left....and if each bag covers 3 ft, then u have (15/3) = 5 bags of mulch left over

Solve for k.<br><br> 18 = 10 + 2k<br><br> k =
slavikrds [6]

18 = 10 + 2k

move 10 to the other side

sign changes from +10 to -10

18-10=10-10+2k

18-10= 2k

8= 2k

divide by 2 to get k by itself

8/2= 2k/2

Cross out 2 and 2 , divide by 2 and then becomes 1*1*k= k

k=8/2

Answer: k= 4

The following table gives projections of the
stellarik [79]

The function that models the growth of the population is P = 276.6e^0.009t

<h3>What is the function?</h3>

We can see that the table shows the increase in population over time. We know that population growth is an example of exponential function. We have to apply the formula of exponential function.

Let us now obtain the function that could show the population at each time;

Given that;

Po = initial population

P = population at time t

r = rate of population growth

P = Poe^rt

P = 305.9

r = ?

t = 10

Po = 276.6

Substituting values;

305.9 = 276.6e^10r

305.9/276.6 = e^10r
1.1 = e^10r

ln 1.1 = 10r

r = ln1.1/10

r = 0.009

Thus the function is;

P = 276.6e^0.009t
