Answer:

x=\frac{7}{3} , \frac{7}{2}

Step-by-step explanation:

6= \frac{35}{x} - \frac{49}{x^2}

Now we need to solve for x

To get 'x' alone we make the denominators same

LCD = x^2

WE multiply the whole equation by x^2

6x^2 = 35x - 49

Now we the equation =0, move all the terms to left hand side

6x^2-35x + 49=0

Now we apply quadratic formula to solve for x

a= 6, b= -35 , c= 49

x= \frac{-b+-\sqrt{b^2-4ac}}{2a}

x= \frac{-(-35)+-\sqrt{(-35)^2-4(6)(49)}}{2*6}

x= \frac{35+-\sqrt{49}}{12}

x= \frac{35+-7}{12}

Now frame two equations , one with +  and another with -

x= \frac{35+7}{12}                                  x= \frac{35-7}{12}

x= \frac{42}{12}                                       x= \frac{28}{12}

x= \frac{7}{2}                                           x= \frac{7}{3}

So value of x= {7/3, 7/2}

X=7/3 and x=7/2

if you want the step-by-step then you just try to isolate x and it is pretty self-explanatory from there on. Hope this helped!

Use a graphing calculator to sketch the graph of the quadratic equation, and then give the coordinates for the x-
Umnica [9.8K]

Given:

The quadratic equation is

y=6x^2-15x+6

To find:

The x-intercepts of the given equation.

Solution:

We have,

y=6x^2-15x+6

Splitting the middle term, we get

y=6x^2-12x-3x+6

y=6x(x-2)-3(x-2)

y=(x-2)(6x-3)

For x-intercepts, y=0.

(x-2)(6x-3)=0

Using zero product property, we get

x-2=0\text{ and }6x-3=0

x=2\text{ and }6x=3

x=2\text{ and }x=\dfrac{3}{6}

x=2\text{ and }x=0.5

So, the x-intercepts are (0.5,0) and (2,0).

Therefore, the correct option is a.

What is this factored?
Mandarinka [93]
The factored form of an equation is the simplest form of the equation that is obtained by factoring out a common variable or constant from multiple terms. Many types of polynomials are presentable in factored form, but the more terms an equation contains, the more difficult it is to find common factors.

mart [117]

Answer: He bought 6 pounds of coffee.

Step-by-step explanation:

Money he have = 70

money he used to buy = 70.00 - 23.62 = 46.38

so

7.73 dollar = 1 pound

1 dollar = 1/(7.73) = 100/773 pound

46.38 dollar = (100/773) * 46.38 = 6 pound
