Wouldn't it be 0? If you want the smallest possible standard deviation, then staying at 0 would be the way to do that. Or if they cannot be 0, they could be 0011, or just 0000.

LUCKY_DIMON [66]
We know that
volume of a bar of soap=2*4*0.5----> 4 in³

<span>A bar of soap is sold for $3 individually
</span>so
$3/4-----> 0.75 $/in³

<span>A three-pack of the same soap costs $8
so
$8*(3*4)----> 0.67 $/in</span>³

<span>if you buy the three-pack you save-----> [0.75-0.67]=0.08 $/in</span>³

the answer is
$0.08

rewona [7]
Use combination to solve it
13C10 = \dfrac{13!}{10! \times (13-10)!}
13C10 = \dfrac{13 \times 12 \times 11 \times 10!}{10! \times 3!}
13C10 = \dfrac{13 \times 12 \times 11}{3!}
13C10 = \dfrac{13 \times 12 \times 11}{3 \times 2 \times 1}
13C10 = \dfrac{1716}{6}
13C10 = 286
