Hey there! :)

The formula for finding area of circles is: π · r²

<em>Remember that radius is half the diameter. To find radius when the diameter is given, divide by 2</em>

d = 26

26 ÷ 2 = 13
_____________________________________________________________

π · r²

r = 13
13² = 13 × 13 = 169

169 × 3.14 = 530.66 = 530.7

The area of the swimming pool is 530.7 ft²

Hope this helps :)

The area of a circle is given by the following formula:

A = \pi r^{2}

r is the radius of the circle.

We are given a diameter of 26 feet. Because the area formula uses the radius, we must divide the diameter by 2 to find the radius:

26 \div 2 = 13

The radius of the swimming pool is 13. Now we can plug in all of our values into the formula:

\pi = 3.14, r = 13
A = 3.14 \times 13^{2}
A = 3.14 \times 169
A = 530.66

Because we are rounding to the tenths place, look at the hundredths digit:

530.66
6 > 5
530.66 -> 530.7

The area of the swimming pool rounded to the nearest tenth is 530.7 square feet.

antiseptic1488 [7]

Move the decimal once to the right . Sorry my phone giving problem putting the division to show step by step but I put it in words.  4÷14.4 4×3=12 Put the 3 on top of the 4 where 14.4 is then put the decimal . Now your answer is 12underneatg 14 then subtract . You get 2 bring down 4  Now 4 × what equals 24  4×6=24 So put the 6 in top of second 4 where you have 14.4  Your answer is 3.6

Firdavs [7]

Answer:

x = 0

Step-by-step explanation:

The distributive property of multiplication states that a(b - c) = a(b) - a(c). We can apply that to the given equation.

3(2 - x) = 6

3(2) - 3(x) = 6 (Apply distributive property on LHS)

6 - 3x = 6 (Simplify LHS)

6 - 6 - 3x = 6 - 6 (Subtract 6 from both sides)

-3x = 0 (Simplify both sides)

\frac{-3x}{-3} =\frac{0}{-3} (Divide both sides by -3)

x = 0 (Simplify)

Hope this helps!
