The most common types of work-related accidents and deaths are as follows:  slipping and falling; inhalation of toxic fumes; crashes and collisions; repetitive strain injury; muscle strains; cuts and lacerations; being hit by falling objects; and exposure to loud noise.  Then and again, these unnecessary accidents or deaths can be minimized if appropriate policies that attend to the workers' welfare are being carried out such as wearing of proper personal protective equipment.
