x = 4 and x = - 9

In both cases the angles inside the parallel lines are same sided interior angles

24x - 1 + 20x + 5 = 180

44x + 4 = 180 (subtract 4 from both sides )

44x = 176 ( divide both sides by 44 )

x = \frac{176}{44} = 4

Similarly

x + 109 + x + 89 = 180

2x + 198 = 180 ( subtract 198 from both sides )

2x = - 18

x = \frac{-18}{2} = - 9

d = |h - 0\,ft|, The driver is 350 feet below sea level.

Step-by-step explanation:

The distance of the driver from the sea level is given by the following expression:

d = |h - 0\,ft|

d = |-350\,ft-0\,ft|

d = |-350\,ft|

d = 350 \,ft

antoniya [11.8K]
<span>If you wish to have 6 or more bottles on the shelf at any given time, and you sell 2 a day, and you are open 7 days a week, then you'd want to start each week with at least 6 + (2·7)= 20 bottles. You have 12, so you'd need to order 8 more that for that next week.

Hope this helps.</span>
