In a 13 mile half marathon, Todd finished in 33rd place. There were 175 runners, what was Todd's percentile rank?

We just need to figure out what we divided by 175 to get 100 
so we can do that 
175 ÷ 100 = 1.75 
Soooo 
if we have the fraction...
  33
-------
 175 
and we are trying to get something over 100
So if we divided 175 by 1.75 to get 100 then we should do the same thing to 33 
Sooooo
33 ÷ 1.75 = 18.85714286
or rounded it can just be 18.9 
So our new fraction is 
18.9 
------
100

So this can also be changed into a percent. 
So it turns into 18.9%
