All but the 3rd one have solution x = 4.4.

_____

a. x = 13×0.3 + 0.5 = 3.9 + 0.5 = 4.4

b. x = 3×1.2 + 0.8 = 3.6 + 0.8 = 4.4

c. x = 5×0.9 + 0.1 = 4.5 + 0.1 = 4.6

d. x = 8×0.4 + 1.2 = 3.2 + 1.2 = 4.4

What is the equation of a line that passes through the point (9, −3) and is parallel to the line whose equation is 2x−3y=6 ?
vlabodo [156]
2x - 3y = 6
-3y = -2x + 6
y = 2/3x - 2....the slope here is 2/3. A parallel line will have the same slope

y = mx + b
slope(m) = 2/3
(9,-3)...x = 9 and y = -3
now we sub and find b, the y int
-3 = 2/3(9) + b
-3 = 6 + b
-3 - 6 = b
-9 = b

so ur parallel equation is : y = 2/3x - 9 <== or 2x -3y = 27
