We can start at the end
The third prince ate 1/2 and left behind 3 mangoes. Therefore, there were 6 mangoes before he ate 1/2.
Next, the second prince ate 1/3, so there were 9 before he ate the mangoes.
The first prince ate 1/4, so there were 12 mangoes before he ate his share.
Similarly, there were 15 before the Queen ate.
Finally, there were 18 mangoes before the King and everyone ate their share of mangoes.

Alright, so I have a question that says this:
yKpoI14uk [10]
Octogon
sides=4
draw lines from the outside angles to the center so they form 8 equal triangle sections
find the area of each triangle and multiply by 8

area of triangle=1/2 base times height
base=4
the height is the distance from the center of one side of the octogon, to the center=5
so area=4 times 1/2 times 5=4 times 5=10

8 triangles so 8 times 10=80
the answer is 80cm^2
the diagram included below shows area for a pentagon

What are the minimum, first quartile, median, third quartile, and maximum of the data set? PLEASE Show your work.
Schach [20]
54 55 59 61 61 62 68 70 72
First put your numbers in order from least to greatest. This shows your minimum is 54 and maximum is 72.
In the middle of the data set is 61.

54 55 59 61. 61. 62 68 70 72

To find the first qaurtile only use the numbers before rhe median (54 55 59 61) and find the median of that. Since 55 and 59 are both in the middle add them both and divide by two to find the middle lf those two numbers. You should get 57. So 57 is the first quartile.

Do the same steps with the numbers after the meadian for your third quartile. You should get 69 as your answer for the third quartile.
