While you’re using the DELETE or UPDATE to change the data in any database like MySQL or ORACLE, the WHERE clause can be used to avoid inadvertently changing data everywhere.

<u>Explanation:</u>

The WHERE clause checks the condition and the changes mentioned by the DELETE or UPDATE command will be done if the condition is true. There are also other clauses like HAVING, IN which will have range either inclusive or exclusive.

It is also noted that in MySQL, there is a method called WorkBench which enables safe mode and doesn’t execute statements without the WHERE clause.

I was not supposed to upgrade my iPad to iOS 11 due to testing but it automatically did when I was charging it. Is there a way t
VashaNatasha [74]
Yes there is a way, you can just go to the backup/system operating system and delete/archive the update, but its only a limited amount of time though, and to be honest with most software, its very hard to downgrade an update, that requires professional skills, but there is a way. If you want try looking up how to downgrade an update for ios on google search and that should help you.

Suppose that the splits at every level of quicksort are in the proportion 1 − α to α where 0 &lt; α ≤ 1/2 is a constant. Show th
Lady_Fox [76]

Answer:

Explanation:

The minimum depth occurs for the path that always takes the smaller portion of the

split, i.e., the nodes that takes α proportion of work from the parent node. The first

node in the path(after the root) gets α proportion of the work(the size of data

processed by this node is αn), the second one get (2)

so on. The recursion bottoms

out when the size of data becomes 1. Assume the recursion ends at level h, we have

(ℎ) = 1

h = log 1/ = lg(1/)/ lg = − lg / lg

Maximum depth m is similar with minimum depth

(1 − )() = 1

m = log1− 1/ = lg(1/)/ lg(1 − ) = − lg / lg(1 − )

The problem with the swap function is that it loses the value at the first index, as soon as it gets overwritten by the value at the second index. This happens in the first statement. To fix it, you need a helper variable.

First you're going to "park" the index at the first index in that helper variable, then you can safely overwrite it with the value at the second index. Then finally you can write the parked value to the second index:

var swap = function(array, firstIndex, secondIndex) {

let helper = array[firstIndex];

array[firstIndex]  = array[secondIndex];

array[secondIndex] = helper;

};

I hope this makes sense to you.
