Answer:

Gaza and the West Bank are claimed by the de jure sovereign State of Palestine. The Gaza Strip, or simply Gaza, is a self-governing Palestinian territory on the eastern coast of the Mediterranean Sea, that borders Egypt on the southwest for 11 kilometers and Israel on the east and north along a 51 km border. This is an issue becuase the government does not allow the people regular rights.

Hello,

Hamas is a pro-Palestinian group- that many consider a terrorist organization- opposed to Israeli control in the region. Their headquarters is in Gaza, the southwestern territory on the map.

(make sure to thank me)

The treaty of Versailles and the economic consequences of its terms were a significant concern and added to Germany's humiliation. It also forced Germany to pay a huge sum in reparations, which it couldn't afford setting it back behind every other nation during that time.

PLease Help (90 POINTS)
netineya [11]

Correct answer: A) Help countries torn by conflict create conditions for lasting peace.

The Nobel Peace Prize was awarded to UN Peacekeeping Forces in 1988. In awarding the Prize, the Nobel Foundation described the mission of UN Peacekeeping Forces in this way:

The United Nations Peacekeeping Forces are employed by the World Organization to maintain or re-establish peace in an area of armed conflict. The UN may engage in conflicts between states as well as in struggles within states. The UN acts as an impartial third party in order to prepare the ground for a settlement of the issues that have provoked armed conflict. If it proves impossible to achieve a peaceful settlement, the presence of UN forces may contribute to reducing the level of conflict.
