Many scientists and engineers use math in their day to day work because of maths uses in science. I'll give an example to help explain.
- In astronomy, astronomers must use math to help calculate the amount of fuel needed for a rocket to enter low earth orbit or possibly even farther. They also calculate the trajectory of the spacecraft and many, many other uses.
- In engineering, engineers must use math to calculate many different areas. Calculus is most often used. This can range from velocity, to derivatives and the list goes on!
F it rose 10% that means that it is now worth 110% of what it was a year ago. So set up an equation: 297 = 110% of x297 = 1.1 x270 = x So it was worth $270 a year ago.
