You would owe the rental shop 54 dollars

13.00 x 5.00 = 18.00

since it is per hour you multiply 18.00 x 3

3 stands for the hours you kayaked

and that gives you 54

therefore your answer is 54<span />

Eli had $10, but he lost some of it. His mom doubled the money he had left. Eli wrote the expression 2(10 – k) to show how much
Juli2301 [7.4K]

Answer:

Equation 1

In the story it said Eli's mom doubled the money he left, that is what the two represents. 10 is the original amount he had. -k is the money he lost.

Equation 2

20 is the the result of the original 10 being multiplied. -2k, now the 2 is still the amount that the mom doubled his amount by, and the k is how much money Eli lost.

Hope this helps!!

HELP ITS URGENT please
stich3 [128]
The correct answer is D.

A function cannot have an x-value that corresponds to more than one y-value.
In this table, the x-value '8' corresponds to two separate y-values; 8 and 5, making it invalid as a function.
