Displacement occurs when an object is immersed in fluid, pushing it out of the way and taking its place. The volume of the object then can be measured by subtracting the fluid without the object from fluid with the object. The amount which the liquid rises in the cylinder is equal to the volume of the object.

How many moles ar Li are in 9.53x^24 atoms of Li?
Anna35 [415]

Answer: 15.83 mol

Explanation:

To convert from atoms to moles, we will need to use Avogadro's number.

Avogardo's number: 6.022×10²³ atoms/mol

9.53*10^{24} atoms*\frac{1mol}{6.022*10^2^3 atoms} =15.83 mol

Now, we know that there are 15.83 moles.

How many molecules are in 9.95 moles of Co2?
AlekseyPX

by applying the equation :

n = N/L

where

n = mol

N = number of molecules

L = avagardro constant

therefore :

N = n × L

= 9.95mol × 6.022 ×10²³ mol-¹

= 59.9189

(this has no units)
