Due to harsh behavior of Spanish government with the people of Pueblo for converting their religion forcefully to Catholicism. For this reason, in 1680, the people of Pueblo attack on the colonies of the Spanish peoples that are living and ruling on their lands and destroy all catholic churches from Pueblo. the rebellion killed about 400 Spaniards.
