1 and 8/9 as a decimal

Mathematics
1 answer:

To get this you first have to turn 1 and 8/9 into a mixed fraction. To do this you take the whole umber multiply it by the denominator and then add it to the numerator. So 1 x 9 = 9, 9 + 8 = 17. So now that you have 17/9 divide. So the answer would be 1.8. (it is a repeating decimal meaning the 8's go on forever, round up to stop)

All of these are correct-

Answer: 1.888888888888888888888888888888888888, 1.89, 1.9

What are the domain and range of f(x) = 2x - 41?
Darina [25.2K]

The domain of the function is a (-∞, 0) and the range of the function will be f(x) < 0. Then the correct option is C.

<h3>What are domain and range?</h3>

The domain means all the possible values of x and the range means all the possible values of y.

The function is given below.

f(x) = 2x – 41

Then the domain of the function is a (-∞, 0) and the range of the function will be f(x) < 0.

Then the correct option is C.

More about the domain and range link is given below.

Find the measure of each acute angle in a right triangle where the measure of one acute angle is 3 times the sum of the measure
luda_lava [24]
A right triangle has 1 90 degree angle and the interior angles must add to 180.

3(x+8)+x+90=180
3x+24+x+90=180
4x+114=180
4x=66
x= 16.5

Plug this value in to find the last angle
16.5+90+x=180
106.5+x=180
x=73.5

Final answer: 73.5 degrees and 16.5 degrees
