This question actually states 2930 divided by 5
We use this method by first seeing how was fives go into the first number
In this case no 5's go into 2 so we put a 0 above the line and carry over the 2 to the 9.
Out number now says 29, 5 fives gointo 29with a remainder of 4.
We write the 5 above the line and carry the four across.
We now have 43, 8 fives gointo 43 with a remainder of 3.
We write the 8 above the line and carry the 3.
Our last number now says 30, 6 fives gointo 30 exactly so we can just write 6 above the line.
The numbers we have writen across the top now say 586 which is the answer to this problem.
