Answer : Option C) leave the area immediately.

Explanation : As this is the situation where she has to be safe first and then inform someone about her health. Once she leaves the area the effect of the two chemicals will be reduced and she will get more fresh air with plenty of oxygen to regain her senses and then she will be able perform any other task.

Answer: The answer is C: leave the area immediately.

Explanation: (not because my mom said this, but...) whenever you mix two chemicals together, (such as household cleaners) you may soon begin to feel nauseous and dizzy, leading to the reaction of a thing called chloramine, an issue for when you do this dangerous process. If done, it would be best if you leave the area immediately, thus making my answer C.

Explain how the scientific method helps scientists.
Lapatulllka [165]

As scientists work hard for the results, they may get biased and may sometimes come up with an answer that is based on that. In order to avoid such circumstances, scientific method is put into practice.

Explanation:

  • Personal preferences can some times affect a scientific answer. That is not desirable as the experiments will be repeated by different individuals and the same results should be obtained.
  • That leads to the importance of documentation of systemic observation, formation of hypothesis and the experimentation to confirm the results, which is the scientific way of coming up with the answer to a scientific problem.
  • Scientific methods thus helps in bringing more credibility to findings of the scientists and can be repeated by others to obtain the same results.

According to nature of flow, convective heat transfer is classified into natural convection
Brrunno [24]

Answer:

When the motion of the fluid results due to natural means like the buoyancy effect, that is, the elevation of the warmer fluid and the fall of the cooling fluid is termed as natural convection. Boiling water is the everyday illustration of the natural convection, in the process, the passing of the heat takes place from the burner into the pot, and heats the water present at the bottom.

On the other hand, when the fluid is forced to flow in a tube or over the surface by external means like with the help of a fan or a pump is termed as forced convection. The use of a fan on a hot summer day is an everyday illustration of forced convection. An example of effective heat transfer is the sweat produced by our body. Therefore, when one switches off the fan, the air present around the body captivates the water vapor until it gets saturated. It takes place for some time and stops eventually, which makes one feel hotter.

At that time, when the fan is switched back again, the air surrounding the body starts to move again, without completely getting saturated, and thus, evaporation of the sweat takes place that also contains the heat of the body and one feels cooler.

A buffer solution is prepared by adding 13.74 g of sodium acetate (NaC2H3O2) and 15.36 g of acetic acid to enough water to make
hoa [83]

Answer:

A buffer solution is prepared by adding 13.74 g of sodium acetate (NaC2H3O2) and 15.36 g of acetic acid to enough water to make 500 mL of solution.

Calculate the pH of this buffer.

Explanation:

The pH of a buffer solution can be calculated by using the Henderson-Hesselbalch equation:

pH=pKa+log\frac{[salt]}{[acid]}

The pH of the given buffer solution can be calculated as shown below:
