Answer:

Geosphere refers to all the matters that are included on earth and their interaction with the atmosphere, hydrosphere, and lithosphere. It is essential as it elucidates the various elements of an ecosystem in which different life forms exist.

It also governs the scattering of different types of rocks and minerals. This scattered elements under certain condition create natural disasters such as volcanic eruptions, tsunamis, earthquakes and plate tectonic movement that changes the landscape of areas and affects the various life forms existing in that ecosystem.

the geosphere describes all of the rocks, minerals and ground that are found on and in Earth. This includes all of the mountains on the surface, as well as all of the liquid rock in the mantle below us and the minerals and metals of the outer and inner cores. The continents, the ocean floor, all of the rocks on the surface, and all of the sand in the deserts are all considered part of the geosphere. Basically, if it looks like solid ground, it's part of the 'ground' sphere.

You have to find the similarities and differences of intrusive and extrusive igneous rocks for the first question. The second one requires you to find out coarse-grained rocks are formed, the third is asking how igneous rocks are classified according to its structure, like the construction of the rock(what it is made up of). The fourth is asking you how fine grained-igneous rocks are made basically, the fifth is asking you how do igneous rocks with that glossy fine stain, how are they made.

Atoms with a low ionization energy give up their outer valence electrons with ease true or false
umka2103 [35]

Answer: The given statement is true.

Explanation: Ionization energy is defined as the amount of energy required to remove an electron from the outermost shell of an isolated gaseous atom.

General equation of ionization energy is given by:

X(g)\rightarrow X^+(g)+e^-

 • If the outermost electron is loosely bound to the nucleus which means that the electron can be easily removed form an atom, it will require less amount of ionization energy.
 • And if the outermost electron is tightly bound to the nucleus which means that the electron cannot be removed easily from an atom. And hence, it will require more ionization energy.

Hence, the given statement is true.

True or false: coccidioides immitis is a member of domain bacteria.
Ksivusya [100]

False

Coccidioides immitis is not a member of domain bacteria.

Coccidioides immitis is a dimorphic fungus that causes the fungal disease; coccidioidomycosis. Coccidioides immitis is mainly found in soils and it exists in two different forms (saprophytic and parasitic). When Coccidioides immitis enter a host, their spores separates from the hyphae and develop into round structures (spherules) that divides to form endospores which causes infection within the host.

Which process forms sedimentary rock in the rock cycle after sediments accumulate and combine? ITS C
nekit [7.7K]

Answer:

Sediments compact and cement together.

Explanation:

Generally, rocks are of three main types viz: Igneous, sedimentary and metarmophic rocks. Based on the question, the sedimentary rocks are that group of rocks formed by the coming together of sediments.

Sedimentary rocks can be formed in the following steps;

1. Rocks that have existed before undergoes weathering i.e. are broken down into smaller particles called sediments.

2. These sediments are then transported by currents e.g water

3. Deposited sediments accumulate and gathered round.

4. The accumulated sediments become compacted i.e. squashed and cemented i.e. stick together to form the sedimentary rock, in a process collectively lithification.

Hence, compaction and cementation (lithification) are the next steps in the process of sedimentary rocks formation after deposition.
