Hello!

Answer: ⇒ C.

Explanation:

↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓

Radiation is one way that thermal energy is transferred from a warmer object to a cooler object. Radiation transfers thermal energy by waves. Waves are disturbances that carry energy from one place to another through matter and space. Radiation transfers thermal energy by electromagnetic waves. Electromagnetic waves transfer energy within or without matter. When an electromagnetic wave comes in contact with an object, the energy that the wave carries can be absorbed or reflected. An absorber is a material that takes in a wave when the wave hits it. A reflector is a material that causes a wave to bounce of it. Thermograms are diagrams that shows thermal energy being released by objects.

Hope this helps!

How does the amount of freshwater in glaciers and ice caps compare to the amount of freshwater in sources that can be easily acc
kvv77 [185]

Freshwater has a low amount of dissolved salt and is used for drinking and other purposes. The amount of freshwater locked in the glaciers is 68% and that of the total on earth is 2%.

What is the amount of the freshwater present?

Freshwater is the less salty and feasible water that is used for drinking, bathing, washing etc. It is present in very less amount on the planet as most of the parts are covered with salty water.

The total of the freshwater locked in the glaciers and ice caps are 68% which is not accessible and the total of freshwater that accounts for the earth which can be used is only 2% and is found in the form of the rivers, lakes and underground sources.

Therefore, the total freshwater available on the planet is 2%.
