Eliminate B and C because the solid lines means there is a equal sign
between A and D, the line with the intercept of 3/2 has the area underneath shaded, so the sign should be < than, the line with the intercept of 1/2 has the area above it shaded, so the sign should be >.
A satisfies both conditions, so A is the answer

What would my GPA be? Here are my grades.
marta [7]
That is approximately, in order, a C, a C, a B, a D, an A, a B, and an A.

In grade points that is a 2, a 2, a 3, a 1, a 4, a 3, and a 4.

The average of those numbers is about 2.7, so you have a 2.7.

You can raise that by bringing up the D as it is an outlier here.

Factorize x^2/16+xy+4y^2
lisov135 [29]

Answer:

\frac{x^2}{16} +xy+4y^2 can be factored out as: (\frac{x}{4} +2\,y)^2

Step-by-step explanation:

Recall the formula for the perfect square of a binomial :

(a+b)^2=a^2+2ab+b^2

Now, let's try to identify the values of a and b in the given trinomial.

Notice that the first term and the last term are perfect squares:

\frac{x^2}{16} = (\frac{x}{4} )^2\\4y^2=(2y)^2

so, we can investigate what the middle term would be considering our a=\frac{x}{4}, and b=2y:

2\,a\,b=2\,(\frac{x}{4}) \,(2\,y)=x\,y

Therefore, the calculated middle term agrees with the given middle term, so we can conclude that this trinomial is the perfect square of the binomial:

(\frac{x}{4} +2\,y)^2

Write the standard form of the line with the given information. Include your work in your final answer. Type your answer in the
AURORKA [14]

Answer:

The standard form of line is

-3x+y=-2

Step-by-step explanation:

we are given a line

slope=3

so,

m=3

y-intercept of -2

so,

b=-2

now, we can use slope-intercept form of line

y=mx+b

now, we can plug values

y=3x-2

we can write it in standard form of line

ax+by=c

y=3x-2

we can subtract both sides by 3x

y-3x=3x-2-3x

y-3x=-2

-3x+y=-2

So, the standard form of line is

-3x+y=-2
