I have no clue!! But I can deduce as much as I can for you!! ;)
So, venomous snakes always have two distinct properties: they are brightly colored and have the heart on their head (where they keep the venom). My guess would be that the king snake evolved to have bright colors so that other predators would think that it is poisonous and stay away.

Answer:

Since king snakes with these markings were avoided by predators, they were able to survive to pass on this trait to offspring.

Explanation:

Given the following choices, B is correct:

A) King snakes and coral snakes relied on similar food sources that contributed to their unique coloring.

B) Since king snakes with these markings were avoided by predators, they were able to survive to pass on this trait to offspring.

C) Coral snakes mated with king snakes often enough to produce another species of king snake with the red, black, and yellow.

D) Overproduction of offspring increased the likelihood that the genetic mutation leading to these bands would spontaneously occur.

Nimfa-mama [501]

Answer:

100%

Explanation:

No matter how many factors are in the cross, if an 2 purebred (homozygous individuals) are crossed, (one dominant, one recessive) the dominant phenotype will always be displayed.

Imagine a cross with between two individuals true breeding for 6 traits. One shows all dominant genotypes, one shows all recessive genotypes. The only gametes those individuals can pass on will always produce heterozygotes.

AABBCCDDEEFFGG x aabbccddeeffgg

The first individual can only give ABCDEFG alleles. The second individual can only give abcdefg alleles. Therefore, all offspring will be AaBbCcDdEeFfGg, and will therefore express the dominant trait.

What part of the female system is the usual site of fertilization of the ovulated oocyte?.
Paul [167]

Fertilization of the egg cell by the sperm usually takes place in the fallopian tube. The fertilized egg then travels to the uterus and implants in the endometrium.

What are fallopian tubes?

 • Fallopian tubes are also called oviducts or uterine tubes. It is the passage through which the egg enters the uterine cavity from the ovary.
 • Fallopian tubes are part of the reproductive tract. They have a smooth muscle wall, an inner mucous membrane, and an outer layer of loose supporting tissue (serosa).

Why does fertilization take place in the fallopian tubes?

The fallopian tube (oviduct) regulates fertilization through sperm induction and sperm hyperactivity. Sperm induction is achieved by rheotaxis, thermotaxis, and chemotaxis. Rheotaxis is caused by tubal fluid that creates a current flow from the tubal ampulla to the tubal isthmus.
