Mathematics

3 0
1) find the corresponding y values for when x = 0 and when x = 4,
when x = 0, y = 4
when x = 4, y = 4

the coordinates are (0,4) and (4,4)

2) to calculate the average rate of change, find the slope of the two points:

(0,4) (4,4)

(change in y) 4 - 4 = 0
(change in x) 4 - 0 = 4

0/4 = 0

the average rate of change is 0!

Please help me ughhh
Rudik [331]

If there are outliers, IQR is a better measure of the spread of data than range. The range will include the outliers, and make the data appear to have many more terms of a greater/lesser value than it has in reality. IQR shows the middle 50%, which (usually) doesn't contain outliers, so the majority of the data spread would be shown by IQR in a data sample with a significant amount of outliers. If your measure of the spread of data contains outliers, then the measure isn't accurate.

A 50 kg ball traveling at 20 m/s would have
kolbaska11 [484]

A : 10000 J

B: 625 J

C: 2500 J

Step-by-step explanation:

Step 1:

We know that ,

Kinetic Energy is given by ((1/2) × m × V²) J

where m = Mass of substance

            V = Velocity

Step 2:

In first case, m= 50 kg, V=20 m/s

Kinetic energy = 0.5 × 50 × 20 ×20

                         =  10000 J

In second case, m= 50 kg, V=20 m/s

Kinetic energy = 0.5 × 50 × 5 ×5

                         =  625 J

In Third case, m= 50 kg, V=10 m/s

Kinetic energy = 0.5 × 50 × 10 ×10

                         =  2500 J

Write as an algebraic expression
Mazyrski [523]

Answer:

13) x=n-11

15) x=3*10

Step-by-step explanation:

I used x as the variable. The questions are pretty straightforward. They are asking you to put the terms in the description on the right side of the equation. The questions = x. That was probably confusing, but it is correct. I hope this helped!
