Then you start going into details in the body of the essay/composition. Telling them about the types of nationality naming all of them. Doing the same for ethnicity. State all of the different ethnic groups beliefs and customs  (festivals, dance, food and tradition). Make sure to research and get a lot of information about these races and nationality. When that is done then you will be able to identify the similarities and differences between these things.
