Hi,

Answer: 4 and -3

My Numerical work:

1. 4 -|2x-1|=-3

2. -|2x-1|+4=-3

Add -4 to both sides:

3. -|2x-1|+4+-4=-3+-4

4. -|2x-1|=-7

Divide both sides by -1

5. -|2x-1| /-1 = -7 / -1

6. |2x-1| / -1 = 7

Solve Absolute Value:

7. |2x-1|=7

We know that the answer could either be 7 or -7

8. 2x-1=7

9. 2x-1+1=7+1

10. 2x=8

Divide 2 and 8:

11. X=4

12. 2x -2= -7

13. 2x-1+1=-7+1

14. 2x = -6

Divide 2 with -6:

15. X=-3

16, X=4 And =-3

I Hope I Helped!
