Answer:

79.5 m

Explanation:

Let t be the time taken to hit the surface of water and x be the horizontal distance traveled.

use II equation of motion in Y axis direction

h = uy t + 1/2 g t^2

- 60 = - 100 Sin 35 x t - 1/2 x 9.8 x t^2

-60 = - 57.35 t - 4.9 t^2

4.9 t^2 + 57.35 t - 60 = 0

t = \frac{-57.35\pm \sqrt{57.35^{2} + 4 \times 4.9 \times 60}}{2\times 4.9}

By solving we get

t = 0.97 second

The horizontal distance traveled is

x = ux t

x = 100 Cos 35 x 0.97

x = 79.5 m

A conducting coil of 1470 turns is connected to a galvanometer, and the total resistance of the circuit is 56.0 . The area of ea
Damm [24]

Answer:

B = - 1.51 10⁻⁷ T

Explanation:

For this exercise we can use Faraday's law of induction

          E = - - \frac{d \phi _B}{dt} = - \frac{d (B A cos \theta )}{dt}

In this case, they indicate that the normal and the magnetite field are in the same direction, so the angle is zero (cos 0 = 1), they give the area of the loop A = 4.32 10⁻⁴ m² and since we have N = 1470 turns in each one a voltage is induced

          E = - N B A

          B = -E A / N               (1)

we find the induced voltage with ohm's law

         V = i R

where the current is defined by

         i = Q / t

we substitute

          V = Q R / t

let's calculate

         V = 9.18 10-3 56.0 / t

We must assume a time normally is t = 1 s

         V = 0.514 V

this is the voltage in the circuit which must be the induced voltage V = E

we substitute in 1

         B = - 0.514 4.32 10⁻⁴ / 1470

         B = - 1.51 10⁻⁷ T

Alenkinab [10]

The fact that large elliptical galaxies are more common in central galaxy clusters suggests that collisions play a role in the formation of these galaxies.

What is galaxy formation?

Galaxy formation is a physical phenomenon where molecular clouds of dust concentrate and thus first generate stars.

Galaxy formation is a process that can be associated with collisions, at least for the formation of elliptical galaxies.

Collisions are a relatively frequent process in clusters (groups) of galaxies that are formed by crashes with other galaxies.

Give v=120m/s north and t = 10.2, calculate the displacement
Sedbober [7]

Answer:

Displacement from the starting position is 1224m

Explanation:

The object is moving at 120 meters per second, it does this for 10.2 seconds. Use multiplication to find the answer.

120 \times 10.2 = 1224

A rocket is sitting on the launch pad. The engines ignite, and the rocket begins to rise straight upward, picking up speed as it
grandymaker [24]

Answer:

e. Only the rocket's motion from the top of its flight path until just before landing is free-fall.

Explanation:

A free-fall is a fall just under force of gravity. The rocket;s upward motion is result of engine push - even if it was shut down - and rocket free of engine push effect when it reaches it's maximum height after shutting down of engine. Then rockets stops at it's maximum height for a moment and rtuens back as free fall with only force of gravitation pulling it back to ground with acceleration 'g'.
