Find the volume of the figure.<br> 2.25 m<br> 4<br> m<br> 2.5 m<br> no
liberstina [14]

<u>Given</u>:

Given that the figure is a triangular prism.

The length of the prism is 4 m.

The base of the triangle is 2.5 m.

The height of the triangle is 2.25 m.

We need to determine the volume of the triangular prism.

<u>Volume of the triangular prism:</u>

The volume of the triangular prism can be determined using the formula,

V=\frac{1}{2}bhl

where b is the base of the triangle,

h is the height of the triangle and

l is the length of the prism.

Substituting b = 2.5, h = 2.25 and l = 4 in the above formula, we get;

V=\frac{1}{2}(2.5)(2.25)(4)

V=\frac{1}{2}(22.5)

V=11.25 \ m^3

Thus, the volume of the triangular prism is 11.25 m³

Find the value of x. (4x-101) (2x+3)<br> A. 31<br> B.107<br> C.52<br> D.46
puteri [66]

(4x−101)(2x+3)

Apply the distributive property by multiplying each term of 4x−101 by each term of 2x+3.

8x²+12x−202x−303

Combine 12x and −202x.

8x²−190x−303

The length of a shadow of a tree is 9 ft. The distance from the top of the tree to the tip of the shadow is 16 ft. what is the h
Margarita [4]
So for this, you'll be using the pythagorean theorem to solve for the height.

9^2+b^2=16^2

Solve the exponents to get 81+b^2=256

Subtract 81 on each side to get b^2=175

Square root each side, and your answer should be b= \sqrt{175} or 13.23 ft
