The charge is $2/m.

We need to find how much money it costs for 75cm.
First let's change 75cm to m. There are 100cm to m.
\frac{75cm}{1} *  \frac{1m}{100cm} = 0.75m.

Now we can create a proportion to find how much it costs for a 0.75m ribbon. Then we solve it by cross multiplying.
For some reason I can't put the dollar sign ($) in front of the 2.
\frac{2}{m} =  \frac{x}{0.75m} \\\\
x = 2(0.75) = 1.5

It costs $1.50 to buy a ribbon 0.75m, or 75 cm long.

In a standard deck of playing cards, one-fourth of the cards are hearts.
makkiz [27]

Answer:

\sf D) \quad \dfrac{1}{64}

Step-by-step explanation:

\sf Probability\:of\:an\:event\:occurring = \dfrac{Number\:of\:ways\:it\:can\:occur}{Total\:number\:of\:possible\:outcomes}

Probability of drawing a heart from one deck:

\sf \implies P(heart)=\dfrac{1}{4}

Therefore, probability of drawing a heart from each of 3 decks:

\sf \implies P(heart)\:and\:P(heart)\:and\:P(heart)=\dfrac{1}{4} \times \dfrac{1}{4} \times \dfrac{1}{4}=\dfrac{1}{64}

Choose a linear function for the line represented by the point-slope equation y - 5 = 3(x - 2).
FromTheMoon [43]

f(x) = 3x - 1

Step-by-step explanation:

y - 5 = 3(x - 2) \\ y - 5 = 3x - 6 \\ y = 3x - 6 + 5 \\ y = 3x - 1
