Medicaid is one of the government-sponsored medical insurance of the United States, the other is Medicare. <u>Medicaid aims to provide healthcare to eligible low-income citizens of all ages, and qualified non-citizens as well.</u> It does so by helping them with medical costs (vaccines for children, lab and X-ray services, physical therapies, prescriptions, ambulances, and prenatal care, etc.) nursing home care, personal care services, such as doing meals, feeding, grooming, and toileting, among other activities.
