Answer: It produces inefficient economic results under certain conditions

Explanation: The above situation is known as the paradox of voting, which tries to show that the cost of voting will always be higher than the result obtained from the voting process. This is because Majority voting undermines the importance of an individual voter. This issue was first highlighted in 1793 by Nicolas de Condorcet, where noted that in a single stage election the influence of a single voter reduces as the number of voters increase.

The paradox of voting further highlights that the expected results/outcome of a voter from an electioneering process is less than what the initial expectations.

Which of the following is most likely to create a poor relationship between a mentor and a trainee?
Firdavs [7]

Answer:

The correct response is Option D.  A poor mentoring relationship will likely result if a mentor recruits trainees merely for the mentor's own career advancement.

Explanation:

Being a mentor is a huge responsibility.  It helps if the mentor and the trainee share interests and that the mentor himself or herself is ethical and takes some responsibility for the trainee or advisee.  Expectations for work should be clear and there should be a mutual interest in the kind of research or experimentation that will be carried out.  It reflects badly on the professor if they are only hiring research assistants in order to advance their own product ideas and research findings.

What kinds of problems may occur in the absence of empathy and cooperation? Write with example
lapo4ka [179]

Answer:

Explanation:

The absence of empathy and cooperation ultimately leads to hate in a relationship. For example, when an individual has no empathy for his/her partner they stop cooperating with their partner and begin acting and developing a very self-centered attitude/personality. This leads the partner in the relationship to feel abandoned and not cared about, which tends to develop into resentment and hate. This hate can cause someone to hurt their partner or even themselves in both physical and emotional ways.
