Answer:

x = 10^{0}

Step-by-step explanation:

From Δ MPL given that; <P = 90^{0}, exterior angle to M = 136^{0} and <L = (4x+6)^{0}.

In the triangle, the exterior angle is equal to the sum of the two adjacent interior angles. So that;

136^{0} = 90^{0} + (4x+6)^{0}

      = 90^{0} + 4x^{0} + 6^{0}

136^{0} = 96^{0} + x^{0}

⇒      4x^{0} = 136^{0} - 96^{0}

        4x^{0}  = 40^{0}

Divided both sides by 4 to have;

x^{0} = 10^{0}

The value of x is 10^{0}.

PLEASE HELP!! I’m very confuse
SVETLANKA909090 [29]

Given:

A(16, 4)

B(34, 40)

Line segment AB partition in the ratio 1 : 5.

To find:

The coordinate of a point that partitions AB.

Solution:

Section formula:

$P(x,y)=\left(\frac{m x_{2}+n x_{1}}{m+n}, \frac{m y_{2}+m y_{1}}{m+n}\right)

Here x_1=16, y_1=4, x_2=34, y_2=40 and m = 1, n = 5

$P(x,y)=\left(\frac{1\times 34+5 \times 16}{1+5}, \frac{1\times 40+5 \times4}{1+5}\right)

$P(x,y)=\left(\frac{ 34+80}{6}, \frac{40+20}{6}\right)

$P(x,y)=\left(\frac{ 114}{6}, \frac{60}{6}\right)

$P(x,y)=(19, 10)

The coordinate of point that partitions the segment AB is (19, 10).
