Sundays were spent cleaning machinery, and not considered an off-day until everything was completed. Breakfast was not served until after workers had already been at it for multiple hours. Not to mention that meals were meager and contained little nutrients and protein, but it was enough to fight off the feeling of hunger. Even during dinner time, the child laborers were not permitted to sit down, which brings us to the next topic of discussion surrounding the health and conditions of child factory workers.
