If even gets 2.00 for every 15 mins and picked for an hour, 4(1 hr), that 2.00x4 equaling 8.00. he then picks 45 mins at 2.40 every 15 mins and that is 3 times the 45 mins, that is 2.40x3 equaling 7.20. this gives him a total of 15.20

If x^2=4 then x=2 pleas help me
pochemuha

x^2=4\Longrightarrow x=4^{2^{-1}}=4^{\frac{1}{2}}=\sqrt{4}=\boxed{2}

So the first one is correct which implies that the third one is also correct.

But these are not the only ones.

2x=2\Longrightarrow x=\dfrac{2}{2}=\boxed{1}

The last one is also correct.

Hope this helps.

Using only addition and subtraction Alan has 41 stickers. His brother has 19 stickers. Alan wants to share his stickers so that
o-na [289]

Answer:

he should share 11 tickets

Step-by-step explanation:

Since Alan has more tickets he transfers a quantity "x" to his brother.

Now Alan has = 41 stickers - "x" stickers that he borrowed

And his brother has now = 19 stickers + "x" stickers that he received from Alan

Since now they have the same number of tickets

Tickets that has Alan = Tickets that has this brother

41 - x = 19 + x

summing x in both sides

41 - x + x = 19 + x + x

41 - 0 = 19 + 2*x

subtracting 19

41 - 19 = 2*x

dividing by 2

22 / 2 = 2*x /2

x = 22/2 = 11

so both will have 30 tickets
