Y varies inversley with x y= 0.5 x= 3 what is the value of k the constant of inverse variations
umka2103 [35]
Y varies inversely with x
y = k/x

when y = 0.5, x = 3
0.5 = k/3
k = 0.5 x 3 = 1.5

k = 1.5

y = 1.5/x or y = 3/2x

Marnie purchased a dining room table and 6 chairs for $1,860.00 before discount and taxes. Kristen purchased a queen bed, dresse
Kaylis [27]
Add up the totals before tax:

1860 + 5775 = 7635

Find 8.2% of this:

0.082 * 7635 = 626.07

Now add this on to it:

7635 + 626.07 = 8261.07

So the total cost is $8,261.07
