9/15:  0.6 (decimal form) 60% (percent form)

7/8:  0.875 (decimals form)  87.5% (percent form)

the trick to find a decimal and percent in a fraction is divide the fraction and you got the decimal number then decimal number X 100 = your percent

Hope this helped :) Have a great day

Mark sold 218 tickets for the school play and made $1,363. Adult tickets are $8 and
Rom4ik [11]

Answer: 91

Step-by-step explanation:

Let adults tickets be a

Let students ticket be b.

The information in the question can be presented as an equation as:

a + b = 218 .......... i

8a + 5b = 1363 ......... ii

Multiply equation i by 5

Multiply equation ii by 1

5a + 5b = 1090 ........ iii

8a + 5b = 1363 ....... iv

Subtract iii from iv

3a= 273

a = 273/3

a = 91

Number of adult's ticket sold = 91
