ASAP Please describe the relationship of the organelles of the endomembrane system in a simple manner. Thank you!
elena-14-01-66 [18.8K]
The cell membrane is a phospholipid bilayer membrane that separates the cell from its environment and regulates the transport of molecules and signals into and out of the cell. The nuclear envelope is the membrane around the nucleus of the cell. The nucleus itself is not part of the Endomembrane system. The endoplasmic reticulum is a synthesis and transport organelle that is an extension of the nuclear envelope. The Golgi apparatus acts as the packaging and delivery system for molecules. Lysosomes are the "digestive" units of the cell. They utilize enzymes to break down macromolecules and also act as a waste disposal system. Vacuoles act as storage units in some cells. (Vacuoles do not communicate with the organelles of the endomembrane system and therefore are sometimes not considered part of it.)Vesicles are small membrane-enclosed transport units that can transfer molecules between different compartments.

Bias can happen in sampling. The propensity of a sample statistic to systematically under- or over-approximate a population is referred to as bias.

To add, in statistics, sampling bias is a bias in which a sample is collected in such a way that some members of the intended population are less likely to be included than others.

The following are some types of biases in Statistics:

Selection bias includes individuals being more likely to be chosen for study than others, biasing the sample. This can also be termed Berksonian bias

In statistical hypothesis testing, a test is said to be unbiased if for some alpha level (between 0 and 1), the probability the null is not accepted is less than or equal to the alpha level for the entire parameter space defined by the null hypothesis, while the probability the null is rejected is greater than or equal to the alpha level for the entire criterion space interpreted by the alternate hypothesis.

What was the predator of the stickleback in loburg lake?
liubo4ka [24]

The correct answer is - C. Humans.

The stickleback in Loburg Lake, Alaska, is not a native species of the lake. It is thought that this fish was introduced to this lake somewhere between 1984 and 1989. The reason for this kind of suggestion is that the stickleback in this lake had full armor like the stickleback in the seas, which is not something found among the lake populations of this species. Also, the full armor had gradually been reducing with each new generation, and in the present, the stickleback in this lake looks totally the same as the other lake populations.

The stickleback did not had any predators in Loburg Lake, thus the losing of the full armor as it was not needed, instead the stickleback was the predator. But even though it didn't had a predator in the water, the humans became its predator through the recreational fishing that takes place on this lake.
