Firstly, the promotion of human values such as compassion, forgiveness, tolerance, commitment and self-discipline. All human beings are the same in the sense that we all want happiness and do not want suffering.

Secondly, the promotion of religious harmony and understanding amongst the worlds major traditions. Despite philosophical differences, all major world religions have the intent to create good human beings.

Thirdly, to work to preserve Tibet's Buddhist culture, a culture of peace and non-violence :)

In ancient Egypt, how was the authority of the pharaoh enhanced through the religious beliefs of
uranmaximum [27]

Answer:

Ancient Egyptian religion was a complex system of polytheistic beliefs and rituals that formed an integral part of ancient Egyptian society. It centered on the Egyptians' interactions with many deities believed to be present in, and in control of, the world. Rituals such as prayer and offerings were provided to the gods to gain their favor. Formal religious practice centered on the pharaohs, the rulers of Egypt, believed to possess divine powers by virtue of their positions. They acted as intermediaries between their people and the gods, and were obligated to sustain the gods through rituals and offerings so that they could maintain Ma'at, the order of the cosmos. The state dedicated enormous resources to religious rituals and to the construction of temples.

Juan improvrd his grades, but he still multiplies incorrectly
Anni [7]

It is because he multiplied the denominators incorrectly

Juan calculates the volume of a rectangular prism with dimensions of three by four feet by five feet by one half feet.

This is how he worked it out:

V = L.W.H

V = (3/4)(5/1)(1/2) = ((3)(5)(1)) / ((4)(1)(2)) = 15/6 = 2.5

Solving the Question:

Volume is calculated by:

V = L*W*H

where

Length is 3/4 ft

Width is 5/1 ft

Height is 1/2 ft

Hence find the volume:

Juan's product of the denominators was 6 but the correct answer is 8, so his answer was wrong.

hammer [34]

Answer: option c continuous reinforcement schedule

Explanation: in continuous reinforcement schedule, it involves encouraging a positive or good behavior (character) when it occurs. Encouraging of good behavior can be in form of reward, reinforcement, giving gifts, cash, appreciation and in this case of the teacher, a star sticker. Children are always happy when they are noticed for their good behavior or when you show them love or credit for it. They cherish it in their heart and we want to do more. Every good act is rewarded in continuous reinforcement schedule by teachers and this will motivate or boast the child to always makes right choices. It is simple and systemic. A child who is being rewarded for good behavior will end up having that knowledge and stay good at all times because it has become a part of him.

Answer:

To get you to comply, she may use: b. a sanction

Explanation:

In sociology, sanctions refer to any action or expression indicating approval or disapproval of somebody else's behavior and intended to ensure compliance with social norms. They are forms of social control, and can be positive (when they reward accepted behavior) or negative (when they punish unaccepted behavior). Therefore, to get you to use a full-length dress at her wedding, your friend may use sanction, more specifically, negative action to discourage your nonconformity to the norm.
