Discuss the 20/7 chunking strategy/theory.
Westkost [7]

Chunking refers to doing a little a lot not a lot a little.

The 20/7 chunking strategy/theory suggests that short term memory can be improved by reducing large amounts of information into smaller bits. Strategies that work for dealing with memory issues include;

Being focused (no phones/tv/computers/music, etc when working)

Avoid cramming

Mnemonic devices (acronyms, songs, jokes that help you remember things)

Re-reading

Visualization

Make connections

Sleep

Taking notes

One thing that has helped me personally is taking notes and then copying the notes I took by hand into another paper. While this isn't very efficient it can help reinforce the information.

The exosystem is a piece of Urie Bronfenbrenner's environmental frameworks hypothesis.
