The product of powers tells us about that multiplying the powers with the same number you have simply have to add the exponents,

for example;

=6^3 * 6^3

=6^3 *6^3 (^3+^3) we are just adding the exponents even thou the operation is multiplication.

= 36^6

The power of power tells us about multiplying both the expression including the exponents. Power rule tells us that a power to a power, just multiply the exponents.

for example;

=6^3 * 6^3

=6^3 * 6^3 (^3*^3) we are multiplying both of the expression

=36^9

In a basketball game Anya makes 14 baskets. Some of these baskets were worth 2-points and others were worth 3-points. In total s
Tems11 [23]

Answer:

She made 12 two point basket.

Step-by-step explanation:

Assuming the number of 2 point basket is x and that of 3 point basket is y.

Based on the question the total numbers of basket is 14, that is x + y = 14 , and the total numbers of points is 30, which helps us with our second equation 2(x) +3(y)=30.

x + y = 14 eqn 1

2(x) +3(y)=30 eqn 2

Using elimination method multiplying eqn 1 by -3 and adding it to equation 2

-3x-3 y = -42 adding to eqn 2 gives

-x= -12

x=12. Which gives the number of the 2 points basket she made .

( a+b) ^2-a^2+b^2
kkkkkkkkkkkkkkk
Inessa05 [86]

Answer:

It is assumed the question is asking to simplify or factorize:

 • (a + b)² - a² + b² =
 • a² + 2ab + b² - a² + b² =
 • 2b² + 2ab

This is simplified expression.

Factorizing as follows:

 • 2b² + 2ab =
 • 2b(a + b)

Can someone help please ?
vladimir2022 [97]

2. Because it is being reflected across the X axis, the X coordinate would change signs, but the Y coordinate would remain the same sign.

A(-6,-4) would become A'(6,-4)

B(-3,5) would become B'(3,5)

C(1,-1) would become C'(-1,-1)

The answer would be the third choice.

3. Reflected across the Y axis, the X would stay the same sign and the Y would change signs.

P(-2,-4) would become P'(-2,4)

Q(2,-5) would become Q'(2,5)

R(-1,-8) would become R'(-1,8)

The answer would be the second choice.
