Since the absolute value makes numbers absolute or real numbers you could replace the ? with 8/9 or -8/9 since the negative will go away because of the absolute value sign.

Use the diagram and the following equation to solve for x.
Lemur [1.5K]

Starting with 113+ (2x+5)=180, combine like terms and to get 118+2x=180.  Subtract 180-118, which gives you 62.  Then you have 2x=62.  Divide both sides by 2 to get a final answer of x=31.

Similar:<br> Similarity Statement:<br> Scale Factor:<br> Please help, NO LINKS
nalin [4]

Answer:

No similarity and no scale factor (I could be wrong)

Step-by-step explanation:

Don't worry, no links :)

You would see if they are similar if they have similar sides. so if there is an equal ratio, to both, they are similar. Sometimes they may not look similar until you rotate them. So for the following, you can see that if E were on the bottom, it would look like the triangle with N and M on the bottom you can ensure this to look at the ratios of each side. To find the scale factor, it depends on which way you are going. are you going from GEF to MNL or MNL to GEF? To me, it doesn't look like there is a scale factor, but I could be wrong.

Consider the given matrix. 1 −1 0 5 1 4 0 1 1 Find the eigenvalues. (Enter your answers as a comma-separated list.) λ = Find the
fomenos

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

We have to diagonalize the matrix

\left[\begin{array}{ccc}1&-1&0\\5&1&4\\0&1&1\end{array}\right]

we have to solve the expression

|A-\lambda I|=0

Thus, by applying the determinant we obtain the polynomial

(1-\lambda )^3+5-4=0\\(1-\lambda )^3+1=0\\

-\lambda^3+3\lambda^2-4\lambda+2

\lambda_1=1\\\lambda_2=1-i\\\lambda_3=1+i\\

and the eigenvector will be

v_1=(-4,0,5)\\v_2=(-1,-i,-1)\\v_3=(-1,i,1)

The area of a circular garden is 4,225 T square feet. Rick wants to find the diameter of the garden. What is the diameter of
ankoles [38]

Answer:

D.  130 feet

Step-by-step explanation:

<u>Data</u>

  • The area of a circular garden is 4,225 π square feet

The area of a circle is computed as follows:

Area of a circle = π*D²/4

where D refers to the diameter

Replacing with data:

4,225 π = π*D²/4

4,225 π/π *4 = D²

√16900 = D

130 ft = D
