If an item you own is damaged or stolen, insurance will give you money to replace it.

You don't have to worry financially about anything coming up, wasn't expecting, etc. You can't control car accidents, sicknesses, unknown expenses. It creates a peace of mind in knowing you can still provide for yourself and/or a family and has sudden financial or personal health issues pop up.

I hope this helps!

Find the point p where the line x = 1 + t, y = 2t, z = -3t intersects the plane x + y - z = 3.
marshall27 [118]
The given lines are
x = 1 + t
y = 2t
z = -3t

The plane is x + y - z = 3

If the lines intersect the plane at a point p, then the lines should satisfy the equation of the plane.
That is,
(1 + t) + (2t) - (-3t) = 3
1 + t + 2t + 3t = 3
1 + 6t = 3
6t = 2
t = 1/3

Therefore the coordinates of the point p are
x = 1 + 1/3 = 4/3
y = 2(1/3) = 2/3
z = -3(1/3) = -1

That is p (4/3, 2/3, -1)

Answer: The point p has coordinates (4/3, 2/3, -1)

Please help! Thank you<br> X= ?
Ierofanga [76]

Answer:

x = 2

Step-by-step explanation:

OP is twice the length of RS; therefore we can create the following equation:

4x = 2(6x-8)

4x = 12x - 16

-8x = -16

x = 2

make sure OP is twice the length of RS by plugging 2 in for 'x':

4(2) = 6(2) - 8

8 =  12 - 8

8 is twice 4 so it checks out
