Make an argument (in one paragraph) why it is important to prevent underaged drinking

Health

Answer:

It's important for these reasons.

Explanation:

Underaged drinking is illegal, and there is a reason we have a law for it. Part of the reason is because of the National Minimum Drinking Age Act of 1984. We have to either wait until 21 years of age, or lose up to 10 percent of federal highway funding. Couples of other reasons is because, before the age of 21, your brain is still developing. Another reason is because drinking at a young age can hinder certain things inside. Plus it puts your health at risk. And especially in today's generation, we are messed up. I should know. I was born in 2006. Kids today are all about themselves. It's me, me, me. We already make messed up decisions. So underaged drinking isn't that good of an idea for us.

frutty [35]

Answer:

1) Implied consent

2) There is no effect of the consent on the physician/organisation because the patient was unconscious.

Explanation:

1) The type of consent that can be applied to this scenario is called implied consent.

2) In such an emergency situation the consent of an unconscious patient or a patient that is unable to communicate presumed to give his/her consent if they were able to. Since the patient came into the ER it would be assumed that she came to the hospital for treatment and would have given her consent if she was conscious. I don’t think that any consequences for such an action. The Doctor only carried out the procedure due to the fact that it was a life or death situation for both the mother and the baby.

tester [92]

Answer:

Neuropathic and chronic

Explanation:

Pain is a body's defensive response, but it can also work wrongly or exaggeratedly by characterizing a disease: chronic pain. When the brain interprets that pain is not being "resolved", it becomes even more "sensitive" to pain stimuli, picking them up more intensely. The recruitment of another nervous system called autonomic makes the pain even more "rooted" and difficult to resolve. The pain system can also get sick, leading to chronic pain. In short, chronic pain is a pain that persists for months and even years.

Neuropathic pain is a type of chronic pain that occurs when the sensory nerves of the central and / or peripheral nervous system are injured or damaged. This type of problem is present in up to 10% of the population and can be disabling, causing different sensations of pain.

A patient who has a long history of diabetes mellitus and has developed diabetic neuropathy for more than 25 years and is without advanced pain at this time is likely to have both types of pain.
