Answer:

The magma trapped beneath the subduction zone accumulates and finds its way through the crust.

Explanation:

The volcanoes in A are product of the magma coming from the mantle into the ocean and cooling down, producing new seebed. The volcanoes in A are fissure volcanoes and remain active as long as the tectonic plate has margins under the ocean. The volcanoes in B are product of the oceanic crust melting beneath the continental crust.

The continental crust is floating over the oceanic crust (oceanic floor), so when there is a collision between oceanic floor and continent, the ocean floor goes beneath it. As the oceanic crust goes into the mantle, it melts and accumulates under the continental crust. This new material then starts to ascend by means of pressure and increase of temperature and escapes through the continental crust in the form of a volcano. The magmatic chamber erupts only when enough incandescent magma accumulates inside it.

That is a subduction or convergent boundary that can form volcanoes when two plates collide against each other.

Which statements accurately describe soil? Check all that apply.
ahrayia [7]

Answer:

Soil condition directly affects crop growth.

Explanation:

Soil condition affects the crop growth directly. If a soil is in fertile condition then the growth of crop which is growing in such soil will be good but if the soil is infertile then the crop will not grow to its fullest. A fertile soil is the one which has optimum condition for growth of a crop like suitable pH, moisture retention capacity, good amount of nutrients & minerals like nitrogen, phosphorus, sodium, potassium, magnesium etc. If a soil is rich in all these constituents then the crop which is growing in this soil will be healthy. But, if a soil is infertile then the crop which is growing on that soil will be under stress and will not be able to grow completely.

In a particular species of frogs, black spots are a dominant trait and their absence is a recessive trait. In a population of fr
kipiarov [429]

The expression which is the correct way to calculate the frequency of the dominant allele is 134/200. Thus, the correct option is D.

What is Allelic frequency?

The allelic frequency may be defined as the sum total of all the alleles of a gene in a population. It represents the overall genetic diversity within a population.

The allelic frequency is calculated by the formula when the genotypes are given in number. It is as follows:

2 × Number of Purebred dominant + Number of heterozygous/ 2× Total number of individuals in a population.

∴ Allelic frequency of dominant allele = 2 × 50 + 34/ 2× 100 = 134/200 = 0.67.

The allelic frequency of the Dominant allele is 0.67 while the allelic frequency of the recessive allele is 0.33.

Therefore, it is well described above.
