Answer:

Option 2nd is correct

67°

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that:

In right △ABC with right angle B.

m \angle B = 90^{\circ}, m∠A=(3x−8)° and m∠C=(x−2)°.

We know that the sum of all the measures of a triangle is 180 degree

In triangle ABC

⇒m\angle A+ m\angle B+ m\angle C = 180^{\circ}

Substitute the values we have;

3x-8+90^{\circ}+x-2 = 180^{\circ}

Subtract 90 degree from both sides we have;

3x-8+x-2 = 90^{\circ}

Combine like terms;

4x-10= 90^{\circ}

Add 10 to both sides we have;

4x=100^{\circ}

Divide both sides by 4 we have;

x=25^{\circ}

then;

m∠A=(3(25)−8)° = (75-8)° = 67°

Therefore, the measure of angle A is, 67°

Which of the following shows the Commutative Property of Addition? (4 + 3) + x = (3 + 4) + x ab = ba r + (s + t) = (r + s) + t n
Novosadov [1.4K]
Commutative says you can add or multiply in any order

basically goes like this
a+b=b+a or
ab=ba

so what we need is something where the order change, nothing else
first one: (4+3)+x=(3+4)+x, the order changed, correct

2nd
ab=ba, this is not addition

3rd
r+(s+t)=(r+s)+t this is associative property

4th
n+0=n
this is zero addition property

answer is first one

A flower garden is shaped like a circle. Its diameter is 40yd. A ring-shaped path goes around the garden. The width of the path
stellarik [79]

Answer:

Number of sand bags needed = 124

Step-by-step explanation:

Diameter of garden = 40 yd

Width of path = 6 yd

Diameter of garden with path = 40 + 2 x 6 = 52 yd

We need to find area of path.

Area of path = Area of garden with path - area of garden

\texttt{Area of path = }\frac{\pi \times 52^2}{4}-\frac{\pi \times 40^2}{4}\\\\\texttt{Area of path = }867.08yd^2

Area covered by one sand bag = 7 yd²

\texttt{Number of sand bags required = }\frac{\texttt{Area of path}}{\texttt{Area covered by one sand bag}}\\\\\texttt{Number of sand bags required = }\frac{867.08}{7}=123.86\approx 124

Number of sand bags needed = 124
