The number of red  beads are increasing by 2  for each new pattern
The next number of reds will be 12.  ( in patern 5)

number of blue beads in pattern 5 will be 15 ( increasing by 3 )

nth term for red  = 4 + 2 (n-1)  ( its an arithmetic sequence)

nth term for blue =  3 + 3(n - 1)   - as above ,arithmetic.

Total beads in pattern 45 is

No. red beads in pattern 26   = 4  + 2(26-1)  = 4 + 50 = 54
No  blue beads in pattern 60 =  3 + 3(59)  =  180

Total number of beads in pattern 45 is:-

 4 + 2(44) + 3 + 3(44)  =   227
