A speech usually contains two-three main points. If you will use too many points in your speech the audience will get confused as for them your speech will sound unfamiliar and complexed as they may not know every point of your speech.

There are basically three main parts of a speech i.e., an introduction, a body and a conclusion. These parts are important in planning or organizing the speech.

It is so because if one will use too many main points in his/her speech then, for the audience it would be hard to keep a record of every main point used in ones speech, as people are not familiar with every term.
