Sample response:

It occurs when a child inherits a chromosome with extra or missing genetic material from a parent with a balanced translocation.

Robertsonian translocations can occur.

The arms of the chromosome are not the same proportion as a person with normal chromosomes that do not have a mutation.

Difficulties include reproductive consequences, Down syndrome, congenital heart disease, and learning disabilities.

Unbalanced translocations occurs, when inherited chromosome in a child is incomplete or the chromosome took some extra material or information from the parent chromosomes. You can also define an unbalanced translocation as an abnormality which is develop when non-homologous chromosomes have some rearranged parts.

Due to unbalanced translocation, human may be effected by these diseases like cancer, infertility and Down syndrome.

The mass of a nucleus is less than the total mass of its nucleons. This difference in mass indicates that some of the mass has b
elena-14-01-66 [18.8K]

Answer:

Option B , Binding Energy

Explanation:

The energy in combining two nucleus is lost in binding them. This binding energy is too large that it causes significant loss of mass and is calculated using the Einstein’s theory of relativity.

When two nucleons combine , mass defect is caused which leads to loss of mass associated with energy and therefore the mass of nucleus is less than the mass of nucleons.

Hence, Option B is correct.
